Christmas Challenge Trophy 2011

This Sunday we travelled to Dalfsen to dance the Christmas Challenge Tropy. This is always a very nice competition with a great Christmas atmosphere. We were really looking forward to dance there, also because we could wear our new TeAm tracksuits! They look very professional and also feel very comfortable for warming up etc. Amanda did a wonderfull job in designing them!

Four TeAm couples in total participated in Dalfsen. Unfortunately, Dennis and Patricia had to withdraw from the competition because Dennis was not feeling very well. We wish Dennis a good recovery. Ronald and Daphne made the final in the A-class and ended in a 3rd place - Congratulations!

Peter and Ira and we, Oscar and Pauline, participated in the championship class. Although 11 couples were on the list, only 7 showed up on the day. Therefore, the organisation decided to let us dance two finals. In the second final we were introduced by a small piece of solo-waltz, which was very nice with an enthusiastic audience. Peter and Ira ended in a 6th place, and we ended 3rd this comp.

We are looking forward to the next competition wich will be the UK championships in Januari 2012!
